Sewing 101
This class is geared to the first time sewing student or someone who has perhaps not sewn since High School. As you make your garment you will learn fundamental sewing skills that are applicable to all facets of sewing. This class focuses on how to take proper measurements, pattern fitting, and fabric and notion selection. Basic fitting techniques, pattern layout, how to fully operate a sewing machine, garment construction and finishing techniques.
Sewing 201
To gain of advanced sewing techniques while learning to work independently. To strengthen students’ knowledge, understanding, confidence, skills and application of sewing terms and techniques and to acquire and apply that knowledge when choosing a suitable commercial pattern, fabric, and notions for a sewing project.

Requirements: you are required to supply your own sewing machine, fabric & notions, & Book. No sewing skills required.
